Forecast + climate normals
No forecast can pin down day-to-day weather much beyond two weeks. So days 15–30 show the typical range for those dates: highs, lows and precipitation from Environment and Climate Change Canada's 1981–2010 climate normals for the nearest station with a long record, with a gentle day-to-day variation so the strip stays readable. Where no nearby station has normals, we estimate the seasonal curve from latitude and the current forecast. Useful for "how cold does Winnipeg usually get in late January?" — not for picking the date of an outdoor wedding.
