Information only — not an official warning service

North Weather provides weather information for general purposes. It is not an official source of forecasts or warnings and is not a substitute for Environment and Climate Change Canada, the Canadian Hurricane Centre, or the instructions of emergency management and other authorities. For decisions that affect safety, health or property, always check weather.gc.ca and follow official advice. In an emergency, call 911.

No guarantee of accuracy

Weather forecasts are estimates, and our data comes from third parties that provide it "as is". We work to show it correctly and promptly, but we cannot guarantee that any information on the site is accurate, complete, current or available at all times. You use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of North Weather is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or its information, including decisions made on the basis of a forecast. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Using the site fairly

• You may view, share and link to our pages for personal and non-commercial use.
• Do not copy large parts of the site, scrape it with automated tools, or put a load on it that affects other visitors.
• Do not present North Weather content as official government information or imply that we endorse you.

Content and data

The site's design, text and code belong to North Weather. Weather data, maps and imagery belong to their providers and are used under their licences — see Data sources & methodology. Government of Canada data is used under the ECCC Data Server End-use Licence; North Weather is not affiliated with or endorsed by ECCC.

Links to other sites

We link to official and third-party websites for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions: info@northweather.net.
